Working “The Flip:” Attracting and Engaging More Volunteers to Serve In Your Organization

Speaker: Barry Altland, Head, Heart and Hands Engagement Collective

Associations come alive because of the passion and commitment of volunteer leaders. And they always need more. How do organizations stretch beyond mere “recruitment” for open spots, and shift to a culture that “attracts” members to enthusiastically offer their time and talents? By applying The Guide for Engaging Volunteers, leaders will explore and practice the six simple steps to discover the passions that stir within every potential volunteer. When leaders work the “Flip” and ask the questions that help discover intrinsic motivators, you'll be even more ready to explore possibilities and next steps with your peers, the organization’s future leaders.

Today, it seems the only constant at work is change and this change can sometimes happen in the blink of an eye. This highly interactive, high-energy session will help leaders learn how to keep the workplace running effectively by helping employees cope with various changes. Gain actionable, innovative tools to open the lines of communication, foster collaboration and teamwork and create connections - all of which lead to a greater sense of trust, even when the unexpected occurs.

Does Your Association Need a Brand-Aid?

Speakers: Lauren Pasqualone + Linley PaskeyLP2 Boutique Agency

If you were to ask three members of your target audience what your mission is, would they say the same thing? If not, it may be time for a brand-aid! Join enter"train"ers Linley+Lauren during a keynote session sure to keep you on the edge of your seat... and even jumping out of it! Get to the GIST of your mission by developing three brand statements that will guide your brand's voice and look across all audience touchpoints.
