Moving Beyond Satisfied Members to Loyal Members

Who Should View this Session: Association CEO's, COO's, Meeting Planners, Marketing Directors, Membership Directors or any person responsible for formulating satisfaction surveys.
Description of the Session: Association executives will learn how to change the focus of their member surveys from measuring member satisfaction to measuring member loyalty. Results of loyalty studies are used to guide the strategic and tactical planning of the association in order to increase member retention, non-dues revenue and volunteerism.
About the Speaker: Larry Seibert is the founder and CEO of Association Metrics, a research and consulting firm that specializes in measuring and managing member relationships for associations. Prior to launching Association Metrics, he developed and headed the association research practice for the Loyalty Research Center in Indianapolis. In addition to his 20 years of business experience in private industry and consulting, he was also a Marketing professor for 15 years, teaching at regional campuses of Purdue University and Indiana University. He has a Ph.D. in retail management from Purdue University and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Indiana University Northwest. His research papers and articles on member research have been published in various journals and trade publications. He has also presented webinars and workshops on member satisfaction and member loyalty. Dr. Seibert is a member of ASAE, the Indiana Society of Association Executives, and the Association Forum of Chicagoland.
