The Economic Impact of Florida's Associations

Speaker: Joseph St. Germain, Downs & St. Germain Research

“Economic Impact Studies” are a hot trend for industries to show legislators, funders and the general public their importance in contributing to the local or state economy. In fact, FSAE just completed an economic impact study for the association industry as a whole. Learn more about the FSAE findings as well as how you can collect and use this information for your association.

Joseph St. Germain earned his doctorate in Educational Psychology from Florida State University (2009) and is President of Downs & St. Germain Research. At Downs & St. Germain Research, he specializes in multivariate statistical techniques, such as structural equation modeling and conjoint analysis, which take survey data and translate it into easy to understand models that predict attitudes and behavior.

In addition to his work at Downs & St. Germain Research, Dr. St. Germain teaches market research at Flagler College, is President of the Tallahassee Sunset Rotary and is the Marketing Director of the Tallahassee Chapter of the Mediocre Golf Association (MGA).
