Known for over 45 years as Florida’s embassy, Florida House on Capitol Hill connects, celebrates and champions Florida to the world.  While Florida House remains an oasis of non-partisanship in our nation’s capital, once you step inside you feel the energy of the Sunshine State. The new Executive Director, Diana Beckmann, brings a contagious enthusiasm to new Florida House programs and projects.

Join us for a peek in the windows of Florida House and learn more about the effectiveness of Congressional Fly-In days, our work with students (from middle school to college) and our Florida Congressional Delegation. Florida is still the only state with an embassy. We’ll explore why that is relevant to your organization and mission.

Diana Beckmann comes to Florida House after a successful career in non-profit and foundation management. She has managed large scale programs and outreach at the International Association of Police Chiefs, Sustainable Travel International, CARE USA and the National Park Foundation. She has also raised funds and awareness for maternal health and education in India, the National Breast Cancer Coalition and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Although she now lives in Virginia with her family, she keeps close ties to friends and family in Florida.

What is the Executive Series Luncheon? 
The Foundation's Executive Series Luncheon is a sponsored luncheon exclusive to association executives. The luncheons are held in Tallahassee, Florida several times each year. Special speakers shed light on issues regarding Florida government such as finance, economic situations, etc. All FSAE executive members are invited to attend and the luncheons are free.
