Diversifying Association Revenue Sources

Don’t let your organization fall into the trap of relying too heavily on one or two sources of income. At this Roundtable, you’ll hear from industry experts about how to better secure financial stability through diversifying.

Scott Ruthstrom was first hired by FDA Services in December 1994 and he has held a series of increasingly responsible positions ranging from customer service, sales, management, and executive leadership.  Since being named Chief Operating Officer in 2010, FDA Services has experienced significant growth in policy count and increased revenue.  Scott’s experience and passion working with dentists are important traits as FDA Services embarks on business expansion beyond its native Florida borders beginning  in 2016.  Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and is married to his wife Shelly, and together they have 5 children ranging in ages from 23 to 19.

Carrie Millar has been with FDA Services since 2003 and is the agency manager. She has overseen the FDA Services ancillary products rebranding project and has helped successful onboard new member programs. Carrie holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Florida State University and earned the Certified Association Executive designation in 2014. She is married to Matt and they have three young children.
