Adrian Amos Honderick, CAE

Adrian joined the FSAE staff in September 2012 as Marketing & Communications Director. In 2024, her role expanded to Marketing & Membership Director where she'll take a more active role in the development of member engagement, retention and recruitment strategies. She serves as staff liaison for the Conference Marketing Committee, Membership Committee, Associate Advisory Committee and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. She earned her CAE certification in 2016.
Adrian has 25 years of experience creating innovative marketing and communications for businesses and organizations. Having a rich history with associations and non-profits, Adrian worked for the Florida Justice Association for seven years as Member Services Coordinator, as well as the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Refuge House organizations. Adrian has lived in Tallahassee for most of her life, but also claims Savannah, GA as home. She graduated from Radford University (VA) with a degree in English and a deep love for reading and expressing herself through writing.
Pamela Cabrera

Pamela joined FSAE Staff in June 2024 as the Events & Marketing Coordinator. She is a recent graduate from the Florida State University with a B.S in Hospitality and Tourism Management and also received a Special Events Certification. Pamela will work closely with event staff to plan our Roundtable meetings and support our education and event programs, as well as taking on the marketing of our events from website to social media.

Trevor joined FSAE in February 2018 as our Education and Events Manager. A professional planner with a wealth of experience, she most recently worked as a conference manager at the Florida Institute of CPAs. Previously, she was the senior meeting planner at the Florida Engineer Society and Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers.
Trevor serves as staff liaison for the Annual Conference Committee and Education Committee. She earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in 2017.
Sandy Merrill

Sandy Merrill joined the FSAE team in May 2015. She has a broad range of experience in both associations and corporations, combining 25 years of membership, sales, accounting, and administration. Sandy manages our day-to-day operations, along with human resources and accounting functions. She serves as staff liaison for the Finance & Audit Committee and Awards Committee.
With both association and HR experience, Sandy worked for a national corporation for 15 years before joining the Florida Dental Association as the Member Services Coordinator for 9 years. Prior to FSAE, she served as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Florida Podiatric Medical Association.

Julia joined the FSAE team in October 2022. In 2024, Julia expanded her role to serve as liaison for the FSAE Foundation, overseeing the Grants and Auction programs. She also serves as liaison for the Young & Emerging Professionals Committee and assists with Membership and other committees as needed.
After graduating from Florida State University with a B.S. in Marketing, Julia lived in Michigan, Oregon and Scotland before returning to her home state of Florida. Julia brings with her experience in both the hospitality and association industry. She previously served as Program Manager & Meeting Planners for Partners in Association Management and Membership Manager for the Florida Independent Automobile Dealers Association.
