What happens next?

To proceed with your nomination, we need to collect some information from you on your accomplishments and goals using the appropriate nomination form link:

  • Executive/Associate/Rising Star Nominees
  • Association of the Year Nominees
  • Supporting Associate Organization of the Year Nominees

If you do not wish to proceed with your nomination, that’s ok too. Please tell [email protected] so she knows your preference.

The deadline for all nomination form responses and any supporting files is May 13, 2024.

What should nominees expect?

Questionnaire answers are limited to 200-300 words, so please be concise but informative in your responses. All awards are based on the past 18 months' achievements. We've also included the max points per question so you know where to focus your answers.

Resume/Work History - Individual award nominees (Executive/Associate/Rising Stars) are asked to submit work history information. This can be done in the questionnaire form or you may email your resume to [email protected]. Resumes must be received by the nomination deadline to be considered.

Letters of recommendation are welcomed, but not required of nominees. No more than three (3) letters may be submitted. If you plan to have someone submit a letter of recommendation, it must be received by the nomination deadline to be considered. All letters should be sent to [email protected] with clear indication in the email who/what the letter is for.

How are winners determined?

All winners are determined using an objective points system based on your questionnaire responses.
Nominee responses are distributed to the Awards Committee for review. The nine-person committee will evaluate submissions as objectively as possible using a point system for experience; volunteer service and leadership; job/organizational goals and success; staff development; and unique factors. Candidates that do not meet the minimum criteria threshold will not be considered for an award.

When are winners announced?

Award winners are announced at the FSAE Annual Conference. Organizational award winners are announced during the Thursday Luncheon and individual awards during the Closing Brunch on Friday. Nominees are not notified of outcomes before the awards ceremony.
