Associations at Risk: 2025 Tax Reforms Free Webinar

Associations and nonprofits are facing the most significant legislative threat in over 50 years. Key tax provisions from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act are set to expire in 2025, and some lawmakers and policy groups are pushing to apply the 21% corporate tax rate to all tax-exempt organizations. This could mean new taxes on membership dues, sponsorships, investment income, and educational program revenue, among other sources.

Shortly following his inauguration in January, President Trump signed a flurry of Executive Orders (“EOs”) implementing a wide array of administration policies. One of the EOs issued January 21, entitled “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity” (the “DEI EO”), is designed to ban both public- and private-sector programs encouraging diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”). Another, entitled “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing, (the “EJ EO”), terminates environmental justice programs within the Executive Branch and targets federal contractors and grant recipients that advance DEI and environmental justice.

Education Expo Hurricane Supplies Drive

For the October 16 Education Expo, FSAE is partnering with the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce to collect much-needed items to support those affected by Hurricane Helene in Taylor County, FL. Items will be delivered to the Taylor County Sheriff's Emergency Management Team. Many families have lost so much, and they need our help to rebuild and recover. Every small contribution makes a big impact!

Items Needed:

  • Work Gloves
  • Germicidal Bleach
  • Feminine Hygiene products
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Baby formula
  • Diapers (baby and adult)
  • Paper Towels/Toilet Paper
  • Pet food and supplies
  • Bug Spray
  • Garbage Bags
  • Oil for Chainsaws

Bring your donations to Education Expo on October 16 to participate!
If you're not attending Expo and want to contribute, please bring items to the FSAE Office on/before Tuesday, Oct 15.
