10 Tips to Successful Exhibit, Sponsorship or Advertising Sales at Your Association

Speaker: Scott Oser, Scott Oser Associates

You may have heard the saying, “if there is no money, there is no mission.” For association professionals that means finding funds outside of dues – and even event registrations. Non-dues revenue drivers like advertising, sponsorships and exhibiting are crucial for organizations to meet revenue goals. But not everyone likes “sales.”

Marketing expert Scott Oser will share 10 tips that can make your sales initiatives more successful – and not feel like “selling.” This fast-paced presentation has practical ideas for professionals learning the ropes or veterans wanting to recharge their approach.

Scott Oser has over 20 years of marketing experience in the association and publishing industries. Before starting Scott Oser Associates he worked for market leaders like National Geographic Society, AARP and Science. Throughout his career Scott has excelled in developing, implementing and analyzing multi-channel direct marketing programs. He is highly skilled in creating effective membership, marketing and sales programs with the ability to align resources and operations to consistently achieve and exceed goals.
