Leading Without Authority

Here is the big question: How do we get others to embrace and act on our ideas because they want to, not because they are told to?

Leading without Authority is a new style of leadership. You don't need to have a team of people working directly for you to develop and exercise leadership skills. You can develop the skills you need to influence others by observing others and then growing your own interpersonal skills based on what you observe.

This Roundtable covers some strategies to develop the leader within yourself - including thinking about what to observe in others and skills that will benefit you such as active listening, questioning, having a positive mindset, developing your emotional intelligence skills, and seeking positive outcomes for your team or organization. Then, it's up to YOU!

Meeting Safety Plan

We are planning for a touchless registration and safe event to protect all our attendees. This includes:

• BYO-Nametag (bring your own nametag) We will have stick-on options available onsite if you need one
• Masks are highly recommended unless actively eating or drinking 
• Lunch will be prepared and served with your safety in mind
• All tables are set for social distancing
• Hand Sanitizer will be available at each table as well as stations provided throughout the facility

**Bring A Bottle for the FSAE Foundation Silent Auction**  
Each attendee that brings a bottle(s) of wine or liquor to the event will receive one free Big Ticket for the FSAE Foundation Auction Big Ticket drawing at the Annual Conference in July. You do not have to be present to win. Bottles of wine or liquor collected at FSAE events will be used to stock the FSAE Foundation Wine Toss at the Annual Conference. Please include a label on any bottles donated so that your association or company can be recognized for your donation. *Only one free Big Ticket will be given out per person per event.*

The Tampa Roundtables are open to all FSAE Members. The Mission of the FSAE Roundtable Series is to provide education and information regarding current association topics to our members that live in West Central Florida.
