Have you read a hotel or vendor contract recently? Don’t assume all that language you’ve seen year after year is the same in 2022.  It’s not just the “Force Majeure” clause that has been revised either. COVID changed a lot, and it has changed the contracting with vendors. Hotel contracts are changing daily it seems, and new language is being inserted—across all brands. What have you seen? What should you look for?

We’re going to have a conversation about contract clauses in our post-COVID world. This session has the potential to save you and your association money (and headaches) in the coming years. You’ve heard it said, “you can’t outrun a bad diet with exercise,” well, you can’t outrun a bad contract and have a great meeting.

The FSAE Meeting Planner Roundtable is open to FSAE Executive Members and Meeting Planners only. Online registration is open until one day prior to the luncheon. On-site registrations are based on availability and are on a first-come basis. The luncheon will begin promptly at 11:30 am and end at 1:00 pm. There is no charge for this event, although a donation to the FSAE Foundation is encouraged.

Cancellations should be directed to the FSAE office by calling (850) 702-0942. Individuals who fail to cancel reservations prior to noon on the day before the Roundtable will be billed $25. No shows will be billed $25.
