Generations in the Workplace: Working Well Together - Free Webinar
Presented by the FSAE Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee

This webinar is FREE for all FSAE Members & Future Members

CAE1 Hour CAE: Domain 2 – Executive Leadership

Carrie RootSpeaker: Carrie Root, PhD; Alpha UMi

Advances in technology, changes in the world and cultural events, have shaped the five generations in the workforce today. While 40 years ago, retirement at age 65 was required, today’s Traditionalists, our oldest generation, continue to be active into very senior years, as evidenced by William Shatner’s trip to space at age 90 on Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket. The newest generation to enter the workforce, the Gen Zs, are true digital natives. In many places of work, at least four generations are present, from the Baby Boomers to Gen Z.

This webinar will explore the changing age demographic landscape for these generations and consider how we work together. We will also discuss how to manage individuals older than you, a situation many Gen Zs and Millennials have difficulty with since these individuals traditionally had positions of authority in their lives.

This will be an interactive webinar. Bring a piece of paper and pen to participate in the lightning round and be surprised by what you learn!
